Belt Sander

Definition of Belt Sander:
A belt sander is a electric power tool that turns a continuous belt of sand paper. Most commonly a belt sander belt is 3 inches wide and 24 inches in circumference and comes in a number of different grits. Belt sanders a re used mostly to smooth and level large flat surfaces and remove wood quickly. They can be difficult to control the amount of wood removed and thus are used mostly for rough sanding work.
