One Storey House Plans

A one story house is just that, one story. There are many advantages to having a house that is just one story.

Advantages to a one story house

First, with only one floor to finish and heat a single story home can be very economical. This makes them a good choice for those who are buying their first home.

Another advantage of this type of home is the fact that they are less intrusive to the landscape. A single story house is able to follow the contours of a lot without being an eyesore. This is something worth considering if you have a lot with a scenic view.

For those that want a house that will age as they do a single floor can be just the answer. As we age we get less mobile (of course) and having to ascend stairs can become less desirable.
