Buying Table saws

No shop is complete without a table saw. Quite simply put I don't know how any wood worker makes due without one. With the wide range of attachments and jigs available, a table saw is really a must to any serious wood worker.

For accurate ripping and other cutting the table saw is often the tool of choice. Versatile enough to allow for ripping, cross-cutting, joinery and even cove moldings.


General Table Saw

Standard table saws have a 10" diameter blade with at least a Table Saw2-1/2 HP motor. Having a 220v power source is preferred for powering a larger motor like this but isn't required. However if you are cutting a lot of hardwood a 110v service might now have enough "juice" to perform properly.
