Aromatic cedar is able to resist water and insects for over 100 years


(Juniperus virginiana) Soft wood with aroma that is a natural repellent to moths and insects. Aromatic Red Cedar is a member of the juniper family and is native to the forests of the South Central United States.

Sapwood is white to cream and is intermixed and contrasts with the salmon to dark red of the heartwood.

Aromatic cedars heartwood contains the oils that allow it to resist insects and decay. This makes it exceptional for use in outdoor projects.
